Common Sparrow setup for the hosted private demo: connect once, fund the same wallet, then use that wallet for auction signing.

Wallet Setup

Connect Sparrow to the hosted demo endpoint, fund that wallet, then use it for auction signing.

Private signet only. Use demo coins, not real bitcoin.

1. Open Sparrow

  • If Sparrow is already open, quit it fully.
  • Run open /Applications/Sparrow.app --args -n signet.
  • Create or open the wallet you will use for bids.

2. Connect Endpoint

  • Go to Settings then Server.
  • Choose Private Electrum.
  • Use opennametags.org:50001:t.

Separate fields: host opennametags.org, port 50001, SSL off.

3. Fund Wallet

  • Copy a fresh receive address from Sparrow.
  • Paste it into the funding tool below.
  • Refresh Sparrow, then open Auctions.

Default: ₿0.01. Max per request: ₿1. The faucet mines one block after funding.
